DESCRIPTION:

This app verifies the truthfulness and authenticity of the data obtained by reading NFC from the ID card (national identity document), NIE, or passport issued by the National Police Corps.

The certificate is generated on the mobile device after verifying the data source (issued by the National Police Center), as well as the authenticity and originality of the ID card, NIE, or passport.

The certificate generated by reading the ID card, NIE, or passport can only be issued to the legitimate holder/owner of the document by signing with their personal digital certificates, integrated into the DNIe chip or issued by the DGP (General Police Directorate), or by verifying the biometrics of the holder.

The app includes the following features:

<ul>
 <li>Protected access to content with password or device biometrics.</li>
 <li>Efficient display of the certificate. Easy export and email sending.</li>
 <li>"Appointment scheduling" for ID card renewal.</li>
 <li>"Security and evidence" section demonstrating the truthfulness and origin of the obtained data (CNP).</li>
 <li>"Generation of specific digital identities" by selecting attributes (Photo, ID Number, NIE or Passport Number, Name, Adult status...) that the user deems necessary, according to applicable use cases (airports, entertainment establishments...). Thus, avoiding showing more information than necessary.</li>
 <li>"Verification of specific attributes" selected by the user, through biometric comparison of the face with the photo issued and signed by DGP (General Police Directorate) included in the DNIe chip, NIE, or passport.</li>
</ul>

This app also enables obtaining the individual’s digital certificate provided by FNMT (National Coin and Stamp Factory), through its electronic headquarters (Source).

It supports all possible methods for obtaining FNMT's individual digital certificate:

<ul>
 <li>DIRECT METHOD: by reading NFC from DNI 3.0 or DNI 4.0 (from 2015 onwards). Requires ID card with active certificates and a password.</li>
 <li>VIDEO-IDENTIFICATION METHOD: any ID card.</li>
 <li>STANDARD METHOD: by identity verification at accreditation offices established by FNMT. For any ID card or NIE.</li>
</ul>

The FNMT digital certificate allows access to procedures on public administration's electronic sites, such as:

</ul>

REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING FNMT DIGITAL CERTIFICATE:

<ul>
 <li>- DNI 3.0 or 4.0 (issued since 2015) with password and active integrated certificates. More information at:

<li>- Valid and non-expired NIE. If using NIE, applicants require in-person verification at an FNMT accreditation office (standard method).</li>
